- Tax return information — W‑2/1099 data, dependent info, income and expense records, Form 1095‑A, banking (for direct deposit), IP PIN, transcript data, and documents you upload.
- Financial & transactional — invoices, payments, refund status, payment method tokens (stored by our payment processor).
- Device & usage — IP address, device/browser type, pages viewed, referring/exit pages, timestamps, interaction logs.
- Support communications — messages, call notes, recordings if you consent, and their metadata.
- Sensitive data — only as necessary to provide the Services (e.g., SSN for filing, identity verification). We do not use sensitive data for advertising.

5. How We Share Information
- Service providers — cloud hosting, e‑signature, document storage, analytics, customer support, payment processing. Providers are bound to use information only to perform services for us.
- Tax authorities — IRS and state agencies to file returns, respond to notices, or as required by law.
- With your direction or consent — e.g., sharing with a lender, marketplace, or advisor you designate.
